Before studying audio visual media, i learned editing “on-the-job” as an intern at a Hamburg based production company. I started freelancing as an Avid editor in 1998 in Hamburg for Me, Myself & Eye GmbH (MME), Premiere, Schwartzkopf TV etc.

During my time at the university in cologne i taught Avid Mediacomposer and did editing consultation for my fellow students. I am regularly working for national german TV network ARD since 2006 as a freelancer for the morning show “ARD Morgenmagazin” as well as various other freelancing jobs.

Softwarewise, i am confortable in editing on Avid Mediacomposer, Quantel SQEdit / Snell Qube, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro.
