i am a filmmaker and video editor. i studied audio visual media<\/em> at the academy of media arts in cologne<\/a> with a focus on directing<\/em>.<\/span><\/h4>\n

i professionally work as a video editor<\/em> for 20+ yrs, having edited pretty much anything from fictional films, documentaries, industrial films to television or artists video installations<\/em>. i am pretty tech-savvy<\/em> when it comes to workflows in the AV post-production chain, including (but not limited to) things like DCP creation and synchronized multi-channel video installations.<\/span><\/p>\n

apart from the day jobs, i am working on personal projects, may it be fictional scripts or documentary films. I directed several movies and worked in many departments of film production. My films have been shown at various international film festivals.
<\/span><\/p>\n

i have been working as a teacher on and off and recently i have been focusing on conceiving and conducting cultural and media education programs for kids, teens and young adults, see more about that here.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n
